Many potential students aspire to pursue higher education but may lack the necessary skills and exposure to adequately prepare for the rigorous application process and academic demands of highly competitive institutions. Trinity's Access and Outreach programme aims to bridge this gap by equipping young people with the skills and knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their educational journey.

Gifts to the Access and Outreach Fund enable Trinity to support students from areas with low higher education participation rates across the UK. The aim is to widen participation for these underrepresented groups, not just at elite institutions like Oxford and Cambridge, but across the higher education landscape.

Through residentials, visits, practical support, and participation initiatives, Trinity's programme aims to equip a diverse range of students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to navigate the application process, thrive in competitive environments, and pursue their academic aspirations with preparedness and assurance.

By making a gift to Access and Outreach today, you can help us:

  • Expand our College outreach programme to develop new and existing residentials for aspiring students.
  • Partner with more third sector organisations, such as Target Oxbridge and IntoUniversity to provide structured support for young people.
  • Increase mentoring opportunities for potential applicants.
  • Host more school visits to Trinity, working with teachers and advisers to empower them to support their pupils applying.

Donations to Access and Outreach in the 2022-2023 financial year supported many access initiatives, including allowing more than 750 secondary students to participate in residentials and programmes. With your help, we can do even more. Please support Access and Outreach at Trinity by making a gift today.
